Audrey J. Sherrick, CPA
Audrey Sherrick is a 1976 graduate, Magna Cum Laude, of Lycoming
College with a degree in Accounting and Business
Administration. She is a member of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society
of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), and is a state
licensed Public School Accountant. After several years in public
accounting and auditing with Price Waterhouse, & Co., Audrey
moved to South Jersey and continued her career with Tracey Heun
Brennan & Company. She was named a partner in the firm in
1982.
Audrey is currently the partner in charge of the firm's audit
department. Her experience includes over 20 years of auditing
various for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including
those receiving federal and state grant monies; Single Audit;
compliance auditing; and consulting regarding budgeting,
negotiations, fund accounting, cash flows, management
information systems, and flexible health plans. She conducts
staff training sessions and holds an AICPA Certificate of
Education Achievement (CEA) in "Not-For-Profit Accounting and
Auditing", having completed the AICPA's two year program.
Specifically, Audrey is in charge of the firm's homeowner and
condominium association audits and has been engaged as financial
advisor to those associations in varying capacities.
She is also a professional member of the New Jersey Chapter of
the Community Associations Institute (CAI), an organization
dedicated to research and education in every facet of community
associations. Audrey is active in her community, currently
serving as the Building Fund Treasurer and as a member of the
Administrative Council for the First United Methodist Church in
Mays Landing, and as a member of the Elliott Foundation (Hero
Campaign for Designated Drivers). She is also a past member of
the Hamilton Township Industrial/Business Commission.
